The Hub Dance Studio

The Hub is an exclusive dance studio in the heart of Cape Town, South Africa. It was established in 2021 by Emma Wainwright who’s had a successful career as dancer in both Hong Kong and NYC.

Scope of project

Laura Wall created a launch campaign for the Hub Dance when it was moving into a new location. The goal was to attract both existing and new students to a unique open-house event where people could enrol into dance classes.

Result

While the average open-rate for newsletters are 16.67% across industries, the newsletters Laura Wall created on behalf of The Hub Dance received 61% and 53% open-rate.

The average click-through-rate for emails is 2.3%, while the email in this campaign received 9% CTR. To conclude, all metrics for email marketing were way above industry standard.

With a tight schedule and only 5 days to market the offer, Laura first filled 1/3 of the available spots withing 12 hours of launching the marketing campaign. And by the time the event took place, 98% of the places had been booked, with the majority of classes being sold out.
